I’m glad you’ve stopped by my corner of the world wide web.
I’ve recently moved to St. Louis and would love to talk with you about giving your project the perfect, professional voice over.
As you can hear on my demos page I have many types of voices at my disposal. I have the experience to know which will fit best in your copy. Of course, like any VO talent should, I take direction well and want to do my best to provide you with the voice you’re looking for. Let’s work together!
Speaking of working together, feel free to stop reading at any point and contact me and I’ll be glad to quote and sample your project free of charge.
More about me and my story
I’m one of the ones who listens to the commercials on TV or Radio instead of turning them off. I dream of hearing my voice on some of those commercials one day.
In fact, I remember when that dream began.
”You’re listening to Michael Flowers on the… baby monitor?”
I was about six or seven years old when I “booked my first gig”. I borrowed the baby monitor from my little brothers room and started my own “radio station”. I played selections from a Beethoven or Mozart CD for my mom on the listening end. I still consider that the kindling of my desire to hear my voice on the radio.
”Michael, let some of the other children read”
Throughout school I would always volunteer to read. So often, in fact, that the teachers would often ignore my raised hand or ask me to give the other kids a chance. That’s how much I loved to read out loud and hear my own voice. That passion continues today (but I’m a little bit better about sharing!).
Waiting for my big break
I work full time as an IT Person, so I’m not fully relying on my voice to make ends meet. One day, I hope to do much more voice over work and make it more of a career.
For now, it’s one of the ways I can help people find a good voice at an affordable price for their projects. My passion has always been helping people, and I would love to help you in whatever way that I can.
Between gigs (and after work), I record, practice, and listen back to every script I’m sent to make sure I learn the ins-and-outs of my voice and how best to use it. I want whoever uses my voice to be pleased with the performance, so I work hard on it.
If you read all this, thank you. I appreciate it. I hope we can work together to make your project the best that it can be.
